hello. 99 blazer . ran fine until electrical went haywire. lights, horn and signals on and off flashing. ran the battery down to nothing even after removing the key. recharged the battery out of vehicle. re installed battery. hot wire started smoking within inches of battery. disconnected wire. pulled all fuses in both boxes. wire smokes. pulled brain and disconnected. wire still smokes. key NOT in ignition. called priest, was told exorcism not effective in these cases.
JA: Have you checked the manual yet? Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Are you fixing your Blazer yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: "disconnected wire. pulled all fuses in both boxes. wire smokes. " trying to fix by self. have 40 + years working on gm.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
