Customer Question

I have a "service brake booster" message. It came after I replaced the alternator last night
JA: Have you done a battery test? Has there been any change in headlight brightness?
Customer: Battery was New last week
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2003 Tahoe
JA: Are you fixing your Tahoe yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am doing everything myself :) I replaced the batterylast week because it was dead. The voltmeter has been showing irregular values so last night I replaced the alternator as well. After that the brake booster message came on
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I am googling this problem now and it seems a couple of guys have had similar problems after replacing their alternators. I have not found a fix yet
