The symptoms you are describing almost always means the starter has failed. With a multimeter monitor battery voltage while trying to start, voltage should not drop below 11v if so replace battery. If good monitor power on both wires going to starter, both should show at least 11v while trying to start and if so replace the starter. This is about a hour to replace and around $300-$400 for the part. Here are replacement instructions, let me know if you have questions. Thanks.
