My car won't crank or start. I just replaced the fuel pump.

Customer Question

My car won't crank or start. I just replaced the fuel pump. I had the starter and the alternator tested and they passed. I had the battery tested and it is still good. I replaced the terminals on the battery too. My car still won't start.
JA: Have you checked the fuel supply? And are all the spark plugs working?
Customer: Yes there is gas getting to the motor. The spark plugs are good.
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2005 malibu
JA: Are you fixing your Malibu yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: My husband is. Tested starter, alternator and battery. When we had a diagnostic ran on it it was the fuel pump so we put a new one in.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I even thought that it might be the anti theft. But that light shuts off once I turn the car on.
