Customer Question

Strangeness. 1997 Lumina, 3100, would not start or crank at all. Battery tested OK but started failed test. So thought problem would be solved with new starter. Wrong. After starter installed I was hooking up battery when one of the cooling fans came on. Huh? Tried starting the car then and still nothing. Buzzer didn't come on either even though key was in ignition and door was open. What have I done!?
JA: Have you checked the fuel supply? And are all the spark plugs working? What confuses you?
Customer: Everything.
JA: Are you fixing your Lumina yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. New starter.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nope.
