Customer Question

Odometer light went out. No codes on dash, just light for odometer suddenly out.
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: Not yet - any idea which fuse it might be?
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2007 Silverado 2500
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We are a collision shop and just repaired deer hit from front bumper back to radiator/lower fan shroud. Repairs are completed and now the odo light is out.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: That should be it.

This would mean the instrument cluster has failed. It is about a $500 job at dealer or you can buy one used with similar mileage and install yourself. Let me know if you have more questions or if there is anything else I can do to help. Thanks
