Customer Question

Hello Pearl! The throttle valve (tv) linkage going to the trans is broken.I already have another cable to replace it with... I need to know the procedure to properly adjust this cable after the installation... It has a 2.0 litre dohc inline 4 cylinder gas engine and*****..
JA: When did you last fill the tank? And do you smell gasoline around the engine?
Customer: It is not my vehicle, so I don't know when it was filled up last... What I really need is the adjustment specs for that tv linkage.
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: It is a 2000 tracker 2-wheel drive.
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have discovered that the cable was broken when looking in the engine compartment.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Yes, please tell the mechanic that I want the procedure for adjusting the tv linkage , and that I am a mechanic myself.
