.sorry for the delay.............Greetings...... “Hi, I’m Don (akaCustomer and I look forward to helping you!”.This is typically caused from the Door Latch SwitchThe Door Latch Switch sends a Ground to the Driver Door ModuleThe Driver Door Module sends a signal to the BCM (body control module), that the Door is open & shut off the TimerProblem with this issue is you need use of GM Dealer Scan Tool to Test the Latch Switch, Driver Door Module & the BCM to pinpoint the causeapprx 1 hour laborTRY THISUsing some Spray Lubricant (wd40, PB Blaster, etc) spray liberal amount into Door Latch located on the side of the DoorOpen & close the Door "numerous times", while spraying more lubricant into the Door Latch on each openSee if that helps

On the Door Latch?IF so, is the Latch making contact with the SwitchPut an Ohm meter on the leads & use a tool to engage the Latch open & closed, while using the Inside Door Handle to open
