JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2002 S-10 4.3 truck
JA: Are you fixing your S10 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: put new distubutor in and now getting high number misfirfes on 1 and 3
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it a steady misfire? Or random?
Customer: steady on 1 and 3 350000 kms replaced fuel spider a year ago

hey how are you

1- have you marked the distributor before you pulled it off and reinstall the new same stop , are you timing

2- have you checked compression on all cylinders ?

3- did the the misfire exist before the distributor replacement ?why was the distributor changed , to solve what problem ?

4- was the problem a year ago when u replaced the injector spider the same as you having now ?

5- plugs, wires cap , etc. ? is that new ?

6- have you checked for loose ground , you have a misfire on one bank , did you get any ground wire loose taking distributor off?

no mis fire didnt occur before distubotor replaced and wire cap rotor all brand new week ago and and plugs month ago spider was replaced because the uppper plenium was leaking so changed while i was that far

i have alse read that a bad battery can cause the p0300 code to. is that true.

compression is about 155 across the board

from like advamce auto or auto zone ?

not the battery , unless we have a loose ground cable .but no not true .

can you get me some fuelt trims readings ?
