Ask Your Own Chevy Question

What is the actual fault code your getting? Is it a P0332?

Ask Your Own Chevy Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
P0327

Its not likely you have bad Knock sensor as long as your not over tightening them on the install. I would suspect you have a wiring issue. Have you check the wiring to it?

new connector after code was recorded and still same, but more worried about ruff idle and hesitation. Can these knock sensors cause this?

usually a bad knock sensor will not effect idle but since its the only code setting that would be the one to address first. Was both engine having this rough idle concern?

Ask Your Own Chevy Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
no

Okay I would be checking the new engine to make sure there are no vacuum leaks and also address the testing for the knock sensor. Are you able to do the testing on the knock sensor If I post them for you?

Ask Your Own Chevy Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
ok

I have enclosed to sets of steps. The first is the short version and the second set is the long version with the wiring diagram for testing reference. Run through them and see if this will help you determine the cause.
