If it's day time outside and you have the light switch

if it's day time outside and you have the light switch turned onto auto mood everything works dash lights and headlights. But as soon as you turn the switch to turn on the headlight the dash lights and radio lights go out. Help please
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: I checked all of the fuses. The worked about a month ago out of no where I turned the lights on they everything worked

Customer: 2002 Chevy 2500hd LT

Customer: Yes I'm. I changed the light switched and dimmer and fuses

When you say that you checked the dimmer, what exactly did you do? It sounds like you have a dimmer switch turned down

Okay I replaced the headlight switch and dimmer switch I have the dimmer all they way up and that doesn't make them brighter
