Customer Question

have a 2012 chevy 2500 with lml duramax. dash showed "exhaust fluid poor quality" drained the def tank and refilled with new fluid, and replaced both n0x sensors. did a ruductant quality test with the scanner, when that was completed the yellow light went out and displayed showed " service emissions system" "135 miles until 65mph max speed" so I continued with scanner by doing a forced regen. n0x sensor are working appropriately; downstream showing about 70% less than upstream. scanner is showing 0g of soot. no idea why I cant get this service emissions away

I've seen a number of these trucks in for this exact error message recently. 90% of them need a new DEF tank because of a clogged reductant filter.

Are you getting any trouble codes?

No trouble codes, any drivability issues? Has the latest PCM flash been performed? GM released a recent reflash to address random DEF quality error messages.

I just wanted to check whether you still need help with this.
