the upholstery around the door handles is pulling away from around the handles at the top
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2007 Malibu Ltz sedan
JA: Are you fixing your Malibu yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I want try to fix it myself , but after watching a google video on how to take the door panels off , I'm not sure if it can be fixed , or just replace the panels
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hello, if the material is not damaged you can use this trim adhesive to glue it back to the panel without disassembly.

If it doesnt' look like it will go back down without removing the handle you'll need to remove the door panels. I'll post instructions on that below.

Having an upholstry shop repair this would also be a more affordable option than panel replacement.
