JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 98 S-10
JA: Are you fixing your S10 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: replaced side view mirror, struggled but got the window crank off

Once you remove the door panel, then the rod from the door lock cylinder, usually there is a clip that is you stick a long thick screwdriver in there you can pry the clip off, then the lock cylinder falls right out the outside.
