Hi there, I am Cam.
on your truck, does the check engine light come on when you turn the key in?

Does the scanner work on other vehicles?

Is there anything aftermarket installed?

Sadly no recalls, so this is likely the fuel pump module. They are common for excessive corrosion causing intrusion into the back of the module. But first verify there is power and ground on the large red and black wire.
