Customer Question

Like the fellow that started this thread, this morning my 2012 Equinox (2.4L) would not start (click, but no crank). I jump started it with my wife's car and noticed that the MIL was on. A call to OnStar revealed that there was a stored DTC P062F and that the car should be serviced immediately.
JA: Have you checked the fuel supply? And are all the spark plugs working?
Customer: The fuel level is low right now (about 20 miles to runout). The plugs were new 23,000 miles ago and the engine is running fine.
JA: Are you fixing your Equinox yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing so far.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of.

No thank you. I'll pursue other service.
This was an interesting experience that I don't have time to pursue right now.
