put in new cam and tunnel ram and a MSD dist idles but will not rev up
JA: How many miles are on the car? What size is the engine?
Customer: motor has less than 500 mis its a 355 small block in my 67 elcamino
JA: What is the model of your '67 Chevy?

JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes and I have built small blocks all my life and i.m 64 now and can't remember shit. I rechecked the cam manifold for leaks it two new 600 holleys
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I think its the rev limiter in the dist so I am going to change that next

What model msd distributor did you use? How old are the carbs? What plug wires are you using? What cam did you use?

You can take all the time you need. I would need to look up each part and see what the data sheets are for them as well as any wire diagrams so we can do the testing needed to get it to run correctly. I will be online till around 3 am.
