2016 silverado 2500 duramax. no power at the aux pin of the 7 pin trailer connection. Everything else on the trailer harness works fine. do i have to connect a wire under the hoood like the older models?
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: no power at all. Pulled the fuse and it has continuity.
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Tested fuse, probed the pin. Truck is brand new. 1000kms

I am very sorry but I dont think I will be able to help. I checked several sources and I can't gain access to the trailer wiring for this vehicle. I suspect because it is a bit newer. I will leave this open for other experts. Good luck!
