This morning the steering wheel controls stopped working,

Customer Question

This morning the steering wheel controls stopped working, the outdoor temperature gauge stopped, and the sound for the turn signal also stopped working. When I shut my car off, the radio kept playing even when the driver's side door was opened/closed/locked. When I tried to start my car again, it wouldn't start.
JA: Do you have power steering? Have you checked the power steering fluid?
Customer: I haven't checked, but would that effect the electronics?
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2011 Equinox LT AWD
JA: Are you fixing your Equinox yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Haven't tried anything yet
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: It sputtered a bit when I started it for the first time this morning.
