Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are several things that could be causing a hesitation and it may take monitoring data with a scan tool while the problem is happening to determine what is going on. The first step in diagnosing the problem is to use a scan tool or code reader to see if any fault codes are setting. If the engine controller has identified a failure and set a fault code that will give a starting point for testing.
