Hi there, I am Cam.
With your car, does the engine crank over with the key and simply not fire, or is the vehicle silent when you turn the key to start?

Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

Also what is the recent history of this issue? Has it been acting up?
Is there anything aftermarket installed?
Are there any warning lights on in the dash when you try to start?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no hot on the stsart , looks like the relay y no jumping
Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

Do you have a test light that we can do some testing?
Do you have a second person who can put their finger on the starter relay while you turn the key to start to see if it clicks?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
am sure no power on the start motor the wire come from the reley
Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

Ok, can you please verify which wire does not have power, the smaller control wire from the relay or the large battery cable, and we need to check the relay for clicking as well.
Also please let me know how you are testing for power.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Sorry, having technical issues. Let me reboot and try again.
Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

OK, If you use the numbers on the bottom of the relay and use a jumper to connect pins 87 and 30, does that make the engine crank over?

and sorry, technical difficulties on my end.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it cranks
Expert:  GM Tech (Cam) replied 1 year ago.

OK, have you tried a second key?
Have you swapped relays with another one?
