thanks............
Are you using "plug in" Headphones or IR Headphones?

Expert:  Don - Mo Lurch replied 1 year ago.

The GMRSAV does not power the RSE, it just sends the Sound & Video
IF you are using Plug In Headphones, then it will not work
You need to use IR Headphones, IF your Factory Rear Video has that option

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
was trying to use plug in head phones don't know if it is IR system or not, how can I determine if it has IR?
Expert:  Don - Mo Lurch replied 1 year ago.

You can borrow a set of IR Headphones or Purchase, or have Dealer get a "Build Sheet" to see if that is an option on your vehicle.
Most Suburbans have the IR type

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I will check with the dealer and then get a set to try
Expert:  Don - Mo Lurch replied 1 year ago.

You could also locate a Car Stereo Shop & have them take a set of IR Headphones out to see if it works.........

I will reply and rate you after I see if the IR headphones work, as far as response time, it was very quick and the answer was a good idea, now just to see if it works
