AC on one side heat on other 2011 gmc sierra, No I think

Customer Question

AC on one side heat on other 2011 gmc sierra
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Has there been any leaking from the hoses?
Customer: No I think it's a fuse?
JA: Are you fixing your Sierra yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I replaced the main fuse earlier and when I was trying to figure out my friend detached one of the fuses and I think he may have put in wrong place. Also it's 90 degrees outside and my temp on truck is saying 55 degrees
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

if you disconnect both battery cables for 5 minutes then touch the 2 battery cables together for 1 minute then reconnect the battery cables and start the truck up and DO NOT touch the heater controls for 1 minute to self calibrate will it still do this ?
