I can drive my 86 for a while then turn it off. When I try

I can drive my 86 for a while then turn it off. When I try to restart it again after running into the store, the light are on but no one is home. Does not even try to start. the battery voltage shows 14 all dash lights work the car does not even try to start. Usually if I let it set for a little while it will start.
