Won't move in drive or over drive but can shift manuely and it will work and just had it rebuilt and it worked great for a month
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you noticed any leaking?
Customer: No leaking just had it rebuilt it 02 Silverado
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I bought tranny on eBay and it was supposed to be upgraded he told me it might be converter so I changed it still doing the same thing
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

1 st and 2nd and reverse will work manually bit it will act like neutral in drive range ?

if that is true and the converter is new then what is wrong is the forward sprag / one-way clutch has failed or is failing and causing this issue

that transmission will need to come out and apart to replace the sprag one-way clutch i am sorry to say
