Customer Question

i ran out of gas and when i put some in my 2015 equinox just clicks but will not start
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: engine clicking from front of car-- i have only tried to start it after putting gas in vehicle about four times an hour ago
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: should i add more gas--like could the fuel injector not recognize it at a low level?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: no not that i can think of

First I would start by jumping it. The clicking usually occurs due to a dead battery, once its cranking it will take longer than normal to start the first time as the mechanical high pressure side will need to build pressure. But first lets jump it and see what happens
