where is the fusible link on a 1990 GMC 2500 5.7ltr?
JA: What is the model of your '90 Chevy?
Customer: sierra
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes want to fix myself, the alternator cooked a bearing, and it on fire under the hood
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: the battery was completely dead and the engine stalled
JA: Did you test the battery with a voltmeter? And have you ever changed one before?

hello . There you have fusible links on your vehicle on the passenger side firewall under the large plastic cover .
