Hi there.

To prime the system, first make sure the new filter has been correctly installed and there is fuel in the tank. Next, take a flat blade screwdriver to remove the vent plug on top of the filter housing (see attached graphic); then push the primer pump until fuel starts coming out of vent (see attached graphic). Reinstall vent plug and start engine.
