Chevrolet Repair Questions? Ask a Chevy Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello my name is***** am an ASE Master Technician and I am glad to help you out with your question.
You need to unplug the radio, then plug it back in. This might work to get it working again.
Disconnect both battery cables (positive and negative) and hold them together for 15 minutes. Then reconnect one at a time, positive first then negative. This should reset the system.
You will have to remove the trim around the radio and pull it out.
If both of these do not work, you will need to replace the radio.
OK I can send you the factory service manual on radio replacement if you like.
OK no problem.
