I'm getting the codes P0707 and P0717 on a 2006 Malibu Maxx

Customer Question

I'm getting the codes P0707 and P0717 on a 2006 Malibu Maxx SS. The car shifts hard but otherwise drives fine. When I look for the part "input/turbine speed sensor" it comes up as 2 different parts and I also can't find the location.

Hi Mike,

The input/turbine speed sensor is in the valve body.

A big job on one of these.

Are you capable of this sort of job, or would you be better going to a Chevy dealer?
