I have a 1998 2500 express van. While replacing the heater

Customer Question

I have a 1998 2500 express van. While replacing the heater core hose, I pull a vacuum hose loose. It is approx. 18" long, and is attached to a t-fitting between the heater control valve, and the engine. Where does it go? At this point my a/c is still working, but only blows through the defroster.

Hi there.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... Well, how about a video? ;-) Click here to see where that vacuum hose connects to on the firewall.

Best Regards.
