2006 chevy impala ac keeps blowing the 10 amp fuse it will work fine then blow again
JA: Do all the fuses have the correct amperage for the circuits they're in?
Customer: yes
JA: Are you fixing your Impala yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've gone through al the fuses checking them
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: my wife and I are both disabled and can't afford a lot of money to have it fixed

Do you know if the fuse will blow if you unplug the compressor?

Does it have the 5.3 engine in it?

it. happenes when the compressor cycles and the radiator fan comes on. it has the v6

I see, thanks. Are you able to possibly unplug the compressor to see if the fuse doesn't blow. Just to be sure it's not a short in the clutch coil. Most times it is the diode though, thanks
