Hello, my name is***** can be caused by a few different things. Most of the time it is either the shifter assembly binding inside, or it is the shift cable at the transmission. It is common for the transmission position sensor to come loose and cause the binding. I would check the cable at the transmission first. if it appears to be fine then I would disconnect it from the transmission to see if it can be moved. If it can then the shifter is the issue. If you need more help please let me know.
