Customer Question

I am getting corrosion inside the distributor cap causing random misfire. What is causing it and how do I correct the problem?

The only way moisture should enter distributor cap is between distributor and cap. I'd recommend replacing with a OEM brand AC Delco Cap and using some silicone to make sure it seals good. The part number is ***** and here is a link to buy. Let me know if you have more questions, thanks.
