regarding the power steering pulley I just ask about. caqn I just screw a bolt with washer on it to push the pulley back on the shaft and do you need a bolt in there to secure it

You would need a nut to push on the pulley while you hold the bolt. The real tool is much better and free to use. Some pumps do come with a bolt that will fit but you have to have the correct length and thread.

It is a friction fit on the shaft so look at the hub of the pulley to see if it cracked and there is nothing holding it but the friction
