NYS Inspection passed EXCEPT EVAP monitor and Secondary Air.

Customer Question

NYS Inspection passed EXCEPT EVAP monitor and Secondary Air. Been going on for 10 days. Drove over 250 miles of various speeds to no avail. 2009 Envoy. Mechanic reset again two days ago. Have driven 100 miles and monitor not reset. Only have three more days until inspection expires. At a loss.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Have any warning codes popped up?
Customer: 74500, Check engine light popped up weeks ago, but was reset.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Aside from driving it, nothing.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: When reset by Mechanic here couple days ago, five errors appeared. Since driving three cleared and same EVAP control and Secondary Air ones won't. Love my Envoy and never had issues with it.
