It sounds like you have a faulty steering angle sensor. Do you have a scan tool to check for sure?

Schould I go to AutoZone and have then cheack for codes

I would definitely start there. If you can get the trouble code that is triggering the traction control light then it would tell us for sure whether it's the steering angle sensor.

If it is the sensor I could tell you how to replace it. However, you would still need to have it programmed at a dealership after replacement.
