Expert:  Eric replied 1 year ago.

HI,

How many total ounces of refrigerant did you put in it?

Is the compressor engaging?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I put the small can in and then the big one
Expert:  Eric replied 1 year ago.

HI,

How many ounces? small can and large can dont tell me as there are at least 4 different sizes they are sold in. Look on the cans for the amount of ounces they hold and tell me that.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
18oz and 12oz
Expert:  Eric replied 1 year ago.

HI,

Ok, does yours have rear AC(makes a difference on capacity)?

Does the compressor engage?

If the compressor engages, what is the low side pressure reading with ac on in psi?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have rear ac and the compressed makes a noise when I put the freon in
Expert:  K. Wiggins replied 1 year ago.

Hello, the capacity with aux cooling is 60oz so you're only half way there currently.

What type of noise is the compressor making? Do you have a gauge set to check high and low side pressure?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have a gauge that came with the freeon and it's making a noise like its clicking on
Expert:  K. Wiggins replied 1 year ago.

Thanks the clutch clicking right now is normal while the system gets enough freon in it to keep from tripping the low pressure switch.

You will need to keep adding freon until the gauge for the low pressure read in correlation to the outside air temperature in the chart below.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok thanks I will go out and buy more freedom to see if that helps
Expert:  K. Wiggins replied 1 year ago.

sounds good let me know how things go

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  K. Wiggins replied 1 year ago.
