I have a 1997 chevy silverado and am having misfires on

Customer Question

I have a 1997 chevy silverado and am having misfires on cylinders 4,6,3,5. I replaced plugs, wires, cap rotor and spider injector unit,i have also pulled the distributor to make sure the gear and shaft were ok.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it a steady misfire? Or random?
Customer: 251,000 miles,it is a steady misfire and i noticed that i do have to press the gas pedal a bit to get it to start, the fuel pressure readins are all good which is weird.
JA: What is the model of your '97 Chevy?
Customer: 1997 chevy silverado 1500,4x4 5.7 liter
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and spider injector unit.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: nope
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Chevy Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
