I own a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. Issue is low engine power.

Customer Question

I own a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. Issue is low engine power. We've replaced three throttle bodies, accelerator sensor, clips on the wiring harness. A new software has been down loaded. When low engine power comes on the check engine light comes on. One can drive for awhile and shut off. Usually reduced engine power message goes of and runs ok. The engine warning light will clear after a second engine shut down. Issue seems to be when you just start it after it has been setting over night or a few days. I'm now calling this my mechanics 401K. He is very good, wants to get to the bottom of this.
