Chevrolet K2500 4x4: I just replaced my transmission on my

Customer Question

I just replaced my transmission on my 1996 Chevy pick up (the NVG4500 5 speed) the first trip I took every thing was running great then it sounded like I had it in third gear when I was in fifth gear but RPMs were normal. The I had nothing it acted like I put it in neutral, and wouldn't go into any gear. When I got it home I tried it again now it is like it is in four low. The transfer case wont go into neutral, or anything. What did I do wrong, what do you think is the problem, how do I fix it?
