When the air conditioning is on in my 2004 Trailblazer EXT

Customer Question

When the air conditioning is on in my 2004 Trailblazer EXT North Face Addition air will come out from the defroster and heat vents but not from the dash vents which blow air directly into the face/chest area.
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with a Chevy. The Chevy Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: As I said, everything seems to work correctly other than the fact that it will not blow air via the vents in the dash.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: I hope to depending on the difficulty factor.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Chevy Mechanic should know about your Chevy?
Customer: No, not at this time.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Chevy Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
