My name is ***** ***** car(chevrolet cavalier 2005)

Customer Question

hi my name is ***** ***** car(chevrolet cavalier 2005) starts for a while and then dies ..what should i do....thanks
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I was warming up the engine in the morning and left it for about a minute then when I came back the machine died. I tried starting it again but I won't start anymore. The gas is good. The starter is good. Battery is good. But I think there is no gas going to the engine.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Chevy Mechanics generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

good afternoon my name is ***** ***** I will assist

the first thing I would do is check the fuel pressure. a failed fuel pump will cause this.

you can try to spray some carb cleaner into the air filter and see if it starts and dies

Can you please show me where I can find the air filter?
