You posted that you "uNPLUGGED BATTERY".??
IF this is Factory Alarm, it will not make noise if you disconnected the Battery

Please explain further

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I unplugged the battery to keep the factory alarm from continually going off
Expert:  Don 'Mo Lurch' replied 1 year ago.

thanks for the added info.......I had to ask.......
IF this is Factory Alarm, then there can be a few things that will cause the "false alarm"
Low Battery
Door, Trunk or Hood Switch
Bad Alarm / BCM Module
Sticking Transmitter Button

You do NOT have to Arm the Alarm, if you do not want the "false"
Lock the Vehicle "Manually" without the Remote, Inside Door Switch or Key, unless you have it set to Arm Automatically after closing last door.
To Lock "Manually".........Close Hood, Trunk & ALL Doors.......Lock Driver Door with Manual Lever / Lock....(Not the Door Switch or Remote)
Close Driver Door
