6.5 diesel non turbo when its at idle it has a little surge when you tough the pedal it goes to full throttle i have changed the tps no difference then replace black box on the side of injector pump and relocated no difference then replaced injector pump bleed lines i have a difference now it will not start unless i hold the throttle down a little and use starting fluid i have throttle response now but if i take my foot off the pedal it will die any thoughts

Hi Barry my name is***** will try to help. Are you getting any fault codes? What is your fuel pressure and have you monitored for air bubbles installing a clear hose between the tank and pump?
