Customer Question

My 2003 blazer lt 4x4 occasionally goes dead it stalled when driving at low speed after a 1 1/2 hour on hwy. Went to restart nothing happens ed all power shut off radio clock went dead nothing. I opened the drivers door closed it turned all power reset gauges lights clock at 12 turned key dead again. Open door close door repeat same issue. Waited 4 hours tried again still dead called tow truck when he arrived he asked me to start it turned right over. But not all lights came back right away no seat belt light even though not on. The gear indicator and odometer would get dim then back but car ran. Got it home no problem. Until I shut off at home tried to restart same issue next morning fine again

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose). Experts aren't employees / agents of Just Answer. We are independent service providers using the Site to sell their Expert knowledge to Customers. I strive to provide EXCELLENT 5 STAR service, let me know what's needed from me so your pleased.

The first thing I need to know is the battery voltage good at 12.6 volts. With the headlights on is the battery post and battery cable voltage identical, if not the cables need to be cleaned. While running is the voltage 13-15 volts?

Thanks for asking your question and letting me try to help you.

If your confused on why or how to rate me, let me know.

I'm only paid from the deposit you've made when you rate 3,4, or 5 stars.

Follow up/Reply as many times as needed before or after rating.
