My 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD is showing a reduced engine

Customer Question

My 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD is showing a reduced engine power message. I pushed the gas pedal and the truck will not accelerate. I pull over and turn the truck off for about 5 min then it is fine. Any idea what's wrong with my truck and how much will it be to fix.
