Customer Question

1997 Chevrolet K1500 - Started and ran fine. Went inside, came out, and truck was off. Would not restart. When attempting to start and give gas, it backfires out the intake. No codes. Getting fuel. Have airbox off so no restrictions there. Disconnected temperature sensor and made no difference.

I said intake.

i am sorry i missed that

usually when these are popping up through the intake with the fuel pressure being @ 60 psi key on engine off are usually bad caps and rotors sending spark at the wrong time

we have had a few rare ones with worn distributor gear causing this type of issue but usually will set a P1345

with no codes replacing the cap and rotor should correct this isue
