Hello, Eddie here and I will do all I can to help. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge by chance? and is this a 5.7 liter engine? what year truck is it? thank you.

I do not have a pressure gauge its a 1988 with a 5.7

alright, Do you hear the fuel pump running by chance? Also, if you have any starter fluid or carb cleaner, can you remove the air cleaner and keep the engine running by spraying that into the throttle body? It sounds like it's fuel related if it will start and then stall. if it had no spark it likely wouldn't start at all.

i will have to check it Tuesday then i will try the starting fluid and listen for the pump running then let you know
