Customer Question

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado, 5.3, 200,000 miles. Never a problem running. Went to start, no fuel!! Replaced fuel pump, checked fuses, no pressure at rails. Will start and die on eather. Check relay, OK also. Could it be fuel regulator? Or maybe ignition switch? It sometimes sticks in start position. HELP PLEASE!!

Hello and welcome! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with your question. Are there any anti theft or security lights on or flashing on the cluster when trying to start the engine? Are there any codes in the computer?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ck engine light has been on 4 50,000 miles, no security lights that I see.only ck engine when turning over. Do not have code tester, had checked when light started staying on a year ago, had a bad coil. Replaced then.

Will a code come up if fuel regulator, or ignition switch is faulty??
Expert:  AMEDEE replied 1 year ago.

It is very possible! Can you get the computer scanned and check the codes and get back to me? I will be at work all day today but will be back on line tonight.
